How is the THERMItight® Procedure Performed?
For the THERMItight® procedure, Dr. Peña will make a very small incision in the treatment area through which a tiny SmartTip™ Thermistor probe can be inserted. This probe is controlled by Dr. Peña’s skilled hands with the assistance of Thermal Image Guidance™, allowing controlled heat to be applied to deeper layers of tissue for optimal stimulation of collagen and elastin.
A single treatment is typically enough to produce desirable outcomes, but full results may not be visible for six to nine months.* More immediate results can be obtained through surgical methods, though these are neither right nor attractive to all patients.
