How Does THERMIsmooth® Face Work?
THERMIsmooth® face uses radio frequency to gently heat the surface of the skin and stimulate collagen production. As with all THERMI® treatments, advanced computer technology closely monitors the skin’s response to adjust heat output accordingly during the treatment process. This not only produces optimal results but it greatly reduces risks of complications that could occur under different circumstances.
Due to the advanced nature of THERMI® RF technology and the features included in the specially designed hand-held application piece, Dr. Peña or his La-Piel therapists are able to address even the most pronounced wrinkles and lines around the eyes, lips, and cheeks. While multiple treatments may be required for desired results, these results will outlast those offered by dermal fillers and do not require the downtime or surgical risks of a facelift and other similar procedures.
