Restylane® Kysse™ is designed to augment lips, smooth the upper lip lines and enhance lip color. Designed with XpresHAn Technology™, Kysse™ allows a more natural, flexible movement.
Juvéderm® Ultra XC is an injectable gel that temporarily plumps thin lips. It is also approved to treat smile lines around the nose and mouth.
Juvéderm® Volbella™ XC is a clear injectable gel with lidocaine that augments lips and fills in those pesky lipstick lines (perioral lines). Lip Augmentation with Fat Transfer
Dr. Peña also performs fat transfer (fat grafting) lip augmentation, a treatment that uses a patient’s own fat cells to enhance and volumize the top and bottom lips.
Fat is typically harvested from the abdomen, purified, and transferred into the lips. Lips augmented with fat stay plump for around five years and sometimes even longer.* Because of the possibility of asymmetric take the possibility of this procedure requiring a revision is slightly higher!

Because the solid silicone implants are not really customizable certain shapes and contours may be more easily attained with injectable fillers.
