Fat from men’s “love handles” may not respond to Liposuction.

Some men have a "muffin top" bulge although they have very little fat. This may be due to their anatomy that includes the iliac crest flaring out superiorly and then joining the abdominal musculature. Sometimes you can detect this problem along with the minimal "pinch test" and avoid surgery and disappointed patients. A careful exam is performed in all my prospective liposuction patients in Naples, Florida. Questions about liposuction are addressed before any surgery is planned.
