What is a Traditional Brow Lift?
With the traditional brow lift, Dr. Peña will place a single incision in the hairline, reaching from ear to ear. The forehead muscles are adjusted and tightened, and some skin removal will help the smoothing process. The result is a raised hairline and a refreshed forehead appearance. The scars are concealed behind or at the hairline.*
Advantages of Lateral Subcutaneous Brow Lifts
The main benefits of using an endoscope to perform a brow lift are:

- Less extensive scarring

Brow lift patients will have scars at the hairline on each side. The scars are designed to allow the hair to grow through them making them quite inconspicuous.
Of course, a Lateral Subcutaneous Brow lift is still a surgical procedure. Just like the traditional technique, it involves some form of anesthesia and there are certain risks of complications. Overall, it is a less invasive surgical procedure.
