How is a Cheek Implant or Facial Fat Grafts Performed?
The cheek implant procedure is similar to the chin implant procedure but the incisions placed within the mouth.
For the fat grafts: Fat is obtained (usually from the fat below your belly button) with a syringe and then it is processed to purify and compact it. It is then transferred to tiny syringes and it is injected with special blunt needles to the front surfaces of the cheek or chin bones to augment the size and projection of these structures.
